Vans Sk8-Hi Camper Pack + Vans Zapato Del Barco Flannel Pack

I was never much of a Van’s kind of kid, and I haven’t changed my stripes. What I will say is that the footwear brand has changed my perception of what they are in the past two years. If I’m going to get over my complex about the footwear brand for my own style well the Vans Sk8 may just be the beginning. Above is the Camper Pack, inspired collection of hiking and outdoor design, on a cool Hi-top style, and with the top areas all in leather. The detail, and accents really make the kicks pop out. So you honestly gamers can wear these all year round, and be swagged out.

Now listen Van’s like DC is to skateboarding what Nike is to running. It’s their ‘thing’.  So I wonder what’s up with Moc’s Vans? Any other time I’d be turned off, except these leather and canvas combo pack is mean from Vans. The sickalatte black leather upper is comes in different color ways such as grey, navy or black canvas on the lower.  Now the plaid, and flannel lining with brown laces are uh, uh interesting. Honestly they are saved with a marriage to the sole bottom. For $65 bucks though you can’t go wrong. Just head over to Premier  http://www.thepremierstore.com/news_detail.cfm?ID=983 and get your Zapoto Del Barco Moccasin Lace Ups while they last.

"The Cigar"

Too Bratrud, Spot, and Nike present the SB Dunk High Premium Cigar. This is a sneaker that “The most interesting man in the world” would wear.  Saying something particularly sporty, but sophisticated for the occasion. What’s spectaculish about these SBs is the unique, and everyday fresh command they have. You’d be right in pocket looking comfortable, but stylish at the same time. Instead of say a pair of Timbs, you could pair these with a nice dark jean, or if its still nice out some worn shorts, and a Turtle/V-neck. I’m an earth tone kinda guy at these times of the year, so for me this is a shoe I’d be sporting soon. Especially with the gray sole, I can make them work for me. Although you the gamer fresh reader may see something different. I’m more than sure some of you are already figuring something out. To each his own though. Nonetheless “The Cigar” makes a statement, and so does Nike. As they continue to collab with other apparels on their sneaker lines. This collaboration with Too Bratrud and Spot is something I’d like to see continue. Made from brown and burgundy suede there is a refinement to these kicks that give it an elegance. That Swoosh is, and will always be everything.

The Jordan Brand yesterday released three variants of the Air Jordan 1 KO Premiums. As a signature, each pair of these sneakers offers up a monochromatic upper, and a red Jumpman patch on the tongue. This line seems to be a more stylish, featuring color ways that are less outlandish, but are still stylish. Tell us what you think.

The new Lebron 9 color way comes in Black synthetic, complimented with silver and orange trim. Orange being a favorite color of mine is prominent on the sneaker. You can see it i the Swoosh, midsole, and areas where the branding is as well. Mind you this may not be a sneaker to floss in, but depending on your style, and focus.

Nike Air Yeezy 2

It’s been a while since February 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend where Kayne who had his “Air Yeezy 2” premiered.  The kicks debuted in a commercial short film with Kobe Bryant showcasing his new Nike campaign. We have not seen or heard a thing about a release date.  Yet, the man that is Mr. West has teased everyone with looks of the feet’s on tour with Jay-z. Both are going worldwide with their  ”Watch The Throne” tour which has been going strong, but dude where my Yeezy’s? Leave it to Don C. To show it to us fiends want a bag of bobonic (who says that?) as the box. The color way is exactly that of the first Yeezy’s. When not broke why fix?; You can see the originals up top, and the “Air Yeezy 2” below.  Thanx to, and Pics are courtesy of Sole Collector.

Kevin Durant has supplanted himself not just among the elite of NBA Basketball players this generation, but a formidable heir to the platform that legends have graced.  This isn’t hype, but you watch in awe as he, and his Thunder team attack the sport it’s uncanny not to wish him success. Well, in the world of endorsements excitement, and brand recognition are the limitmus test for achievement KD is climbing that chart rapidly. Nike will in the next several weeks release a new colorway to KD IV Zoom’s. Team Orange as they are labeling these ‘feet’ “Team Orange”. Offering up a white Adaptive Fit midfoot strap, featuring a grey rubber outsole that adds Photo Blue accents to finish. For my money these are the best color way. I love the color Orange, and it’s not easy to pull off the color on kicks without it looking over the top.

I was never a big fan of Micheal Jordan’s kicks. Don’t get me wrong some versions really caught my eye at times, but not enough to get me to purchase them. I will say that I never tried on a pair that didn’t fit, and look right on me. Yet, I can’t for the life of me explain why I loved Charles Barkley’s Air Max kicks better than any pair of ‘J’s. They were more heavier, less sleak or even nimble, but they just spoke to me. It’s the same with the Penny’s, first A.I. ?’s, and SB Dunks. I dig what I dig I guess. In any event getting back to Sir Charles aka Mr. 34 Nike has already released two pairs of his classic shoe, and now they are back with a Red/Black colorway. The bulkiness of the shoe is even more prominent with this version, so I guess for me it’ll be a summer shoe to rock. The shoe has a Vac Tech leather upper, some white accents giving it a stylish finish that bring down all the red so the shoe has some sophistication.  The motivation of the release is dedicated to Charles Barkley later NBA career stint with the Houston Rockets.

Nike Sportswear introduces us Nike Lunar. As featured in this Nike Lunar Blazer, the Lunar sole resides on a mesh constructed upper. The Navy Blue color way rides above as the base color for pair of feet. On offer is a white accent on the Nike Swoosh along with the laces. {Via Tunghova}
